What do you call a company that charges large corporations to acquire feedback from the general public?

For example, before a new product is released (ie cars, movies, electronics), the producers will test the product with the public and listen to their feedback in advance, making any appropriate modifications to te product before mass launch.

Can you give me examples of any firms that provide this service today?
