What is the volume of the right prism?

15in
17in
10in
8in

a. 1200 in3 <--- ? A
b. 600 in3
c. 400 in3
d. 50 in3

The 17 doesn't matter I believe. It is labled inside the prism on the grey which is the opposite side as the 15. So I just did 15 x 10 x 8. Plus if I use 17 it would have be 2040 and that's not an option. Unless Im wrong..

What is the circumference of the circle? Use pie = 3.14. Round your answer to the nearest tenth of a centimeter.

17 cm

A.20.1 cm

B. 26.7 cm

C.34.0 cm

D. 53.4 cm <-- D?

A right cylinder has a diameter of 30 mm and a height of 30 mm, as shown.

What is the volume of the cylinder?

a. 27,000 mm3

b. 21,195 mm3

c. 2826 mm3 <?

c. 1413 mm3

How do I do this?

3.14 x 30 x 30 = 2,826

Correct me please?

SORRY i forgot to put math

1 is right.
2 -- can't tell because we don't know the diameter
3 -
The volume of cylinder is found using this formula: V = pi * r^2 * h

You didn't use the radius squared. You used the diameter.

for 2 it just has a line with a T and a line with 17cm.

for 3 How do I find the radius? is it C?
Answered by Gigi
V= 30 X 15 ^2 * 30 = 21,195
I got it lol
the radius is half of 30 which is 15
Answered by Ms. Sue
Yes! :-)
Answered by Gigi
and for 2 the diameter is 17cm

8.5 is the radius of 17.
So I put 8.5 x 2 x 3.14 = 53.38 and rounded is 53.4?
