    f(x) = 4|x-7|
To get f(x+1), just replace every x with x+1:
f(x+1) = 4|(x+1)-7| = 4|x-6|

To get f(x+1), just replace every x with x+1:
f(x+1) = 4|(x+1)-7| = 4|x-6|
