The area of a rectangle is 900m2.If its breadth is 45m,what is its length?

A = length times width

900 = 45L

900/45 = L

20 = L

recall that area of rectangle is length multiplied by width:
A = l * w

Substituting,
900 = l * 45
l = 900 / 45
