What is the domain for y=sqrt((x)/(x-1))?

Can anyone please teach me how to do it?
THANKS A LOT!

1 answer

if x is negative, the sqrt x is imaginary
so we know that x>/= 0
then if x = 1 exactly
the denominator is zero and y is undefined
so the domain is
0</= x <1 and x > 1
