Solve the following equations and/or system of equations for the unknown variables.
1. x^2-3x-12=0
x= 3 + sqrt(57) / 2, x= 3 - sqrt(57) / 2
2. x+y=8 , 3x+2y=2 x=-14, y=22
3. 3x + 2y =10 , x+y=5 , y+z =9 x=0,y=5, z=4
4. 1/x-p1z=0, 1-p2z=0, I-p1x-p2y=0
Note that p1, p2, I are constants (parameters) that should be taken as given, i.e. just solve for x,y,z
z=1/2p , x=2, y= 2p+2pI
