remainder = 9

pears = (1/3)(9) = 3
remainder = 6

radishes = (1/2) of 6 = 3
leaving 3 for the lettuce

so 3 ft^2 of radishes

Hi, but when i did it this way i was very confused! So you do 4÷12?
And so on. Because when i did it gave me three and no remainer of nine! I am just very confused!
