Your answer doesn't make any sense. The marksman must have to shoot many times 100 to register 100 hits.
Try again.

12.5x=100/12.5
x=8?
x=8?

do you multiply the 12.5 by 100?
Answered by
sia
x * 12.5% = 100
x * (12.5/100) = 100
.125x = 100
x = 100/.125
x = 800
x * (12.5/100) = 100
.125x = 100
x = 100/.125
x = 800

Ms. Sue
You need to change the percent to its decimal equivalent.
Answered by
sia
So just do 0.125/100
Answered by
Ms. Sue
0.125x = 100
x = 100/0.125
x = 100/0.125
