I assume you are solving this equation.
btw, sec by itself is meaningless, since it is an operator, thus it needs an argument
that's like saying 3 + √ = x
anyway....
-2sec x = 3
sec x = -3/2
cosx = -2/3
the cosine is negative in quads II and III
using my calculator set to degrees:
x = 131.8° or x = 228.8°
in radians:
x = 2.3 or x = 3.98
