h(x)= x + cos(ax), where a is a positive constant such that 0 < a < 4.
What values of a make h(x) strictly decreasing?
I know h'(x) has to be less than zero for h(x) to be decreasing and h'(x) = 1-asin(ax). I'm not sure where to go from here...
