Area of triangle:
A = (1/2)bh

Area of circle:
A = (π/4)d^2

The remaining area is therefore,
(1/2)bh - (π/4)d^2

Substituting,
(1/2)(8)(7) - (π/4)(3)^2 = ?

Units in in^2. Hope this helps~ `u`
