5x^2 + 26x + 5

Besides guessing and checking, is there any other way or "trick" (preferably not time-consuming) to factor polynomials whose leading coefficient is NOT 1? Thanks much!

No. But with some experience, trial and error is pretty fast.

(5x +1)(x+5)
