x^2 - 2x + 2 = 0

X = (-B +- sqrt(B^2-4AC))/2A
X = (2 +- sqrt(4-8))/2
X = (2 +- sqrt(-4))/2
X = (2 +- sqrt(4(-1))/2
X = (2 +- 2sqrt(-1)/2
X = (2 +- 2i)/2 = 1 +- i = 1+i, and 1-i.

Check:
(1+i)^2 - 2(1+i) + 2 =
1 + 2i - 1 - 2 -2i + 2 = 0
