I would multiply by 15 to get rid of those fractions,

30d - 5f = 15f - 9d
-20f = -39d
f = 39/20

Hmmm.

(2d-f)/3 = (f-3d)/5
5(2d-f) = 3(f-3d)
10d - 5f = 3f - 9d
-8f = -19d
f = 19/8 d
