There's probably a better way to solve this problem, but here's my solution.
2 + 4 + 6 + 8 = 20
360/20 = 18
2x + 4x + 6x + 8x = 360
20x = 360
x = 18
Go back and substitute 18 for x in the equation.
2 + 4 + 6 + 8 = 20
360/20 = 18
2x + 4x + 6x + 8x = 360
20x = 360
x = 18
