y=(1/5)x+2
y=x-4
then
x + 10 = 5 x - 20
x = 30/4 = 15/2 = 7.5
or do you mean
y = 1/(5x) + 2
then
1 + 10 x = 5 x^2 - 20 x
solve quadratic
or do you mean
1/(5x+2) = x-4
1 = (5x+2)(x-4)
1 = 5 x^2 + 18 x - 8
etc
