a 50g slug is shot from a rifle at 900m/s
a) what is the KE of the slug?
b) how much work is done on the slug if it starts from rest?

KE = (1/2)*m*v^2
m = mass (in kg)
v = velocity (in m/s)

Work = Change in KE but it starts at 0 so it's the KE you worked out - 0
Which looks to be the same as the first part and they have the same units too, joules.
