I need to find the percent of the total area of New York City that each borough covers.
Bronx 41miles
Manhattan 23 miles
Queens 110 miles
Brooklyn 73 miles
Staten Island 56 miles

Not sure how to figure it?

First, add the areas together.

41 + 23 + 110 + 73 + 56 = 303 sq. mi.

Then divide the area of each borough by 303 to find its percent.

Example:

Bronx: 41 / 303 = 0.135 = 13.5%
