3x^2+5xy-2y^2
=3x²+6xy -(xy+2y&sup2)
=3x(x+2y)-y(x+2y)
=(3x-y)(x+2y)
=0
So either
(3x-y)=0 or (x+2y)=0
Hence find the two possible values of x/y.
