Question

Find the value of the variable and ST if S is between R and T.

RS=7a, ST=12a, RS=28

No clue what so ever how to do this.

If RS = 28 AND RS = 7a, then 28 = 7a and a = 4

ST then = 12a = 48

Presumably RT is a line with point S 7/19 of the way from R to T
Although they don't ask you for RT, it is 28 + 48 = 76
