I am not sure how to start this question, my teacher wants us to use conversion factors and write it out but I don't get how I am supposed to start it.

Start by asking yourself how many mols you need? Moles KOH you want = 1.00 L x (1.3 mols/L) = ? mols and that is 1.3 moles KOH.

Then 1.3 moles KOH x (56.1 grams KOH/mol KOH) = grams KOH you need for 1 L of 1.3M KOH.
