Find the volume of the cylinder with a radius of 34m and a height of 27m.

This is how I did it can you please tell me if I did it correct, thanks.

V= 3.14r^2h
= 3.14*34^2*27
= 3.14*1156*27
= 98005.68
If this is not it can you please explain what I did wrong?

That's correct.

The volume is 98,005.68 cubic meters.
Iā€™m getting 98,055.38? What am I doing wrong?
your not wrong i got it 2 but to double check run it through googles program just tell the width and height of the cylinder and it will calculate it for you
34m is the diameter
not the radius.
34/2=17
so try the radius as 17.
I am getting 24,513.85.
if it showed the radius, the line would have been made half way on the circle.
But it shows the line across the whole circle.and it says 34.
when the line is all the way across the circle it is the diameter
ur welcome
Iā€™m getting 2,882.52šŸ’€šŸ˜šŸ–
LOL let me help šŸ˜šŸ˜
3.14 x 27 x 17^2 = 24,501.42
guys remember the number squared is the number times itself so 17^2 is 289
