A rectangle has an area of 48 square feet and a length of 10 feet. What is its width?

Area=Length*width
so,
48=10*width (we'll use w to stand for width)
48=10w
now divide by 10
48/10=w, or the width.
48/10=4.8
So...
The width is 4.8 ft
