Question
1.A 910 kg racecar starts from rest and reaches a speed of 25.1 m/s in 0.48 s.
a)What is the average acceleration of the racecar during this time period?
b)What is the magnitude of the net force on the racecar?
for a) I know:
Mass= 910kg
V=25.1m/s
T=0.48s
and I know to find A= F/M
How do I find the Force to that I can find the Force so that I can find acceleration?
for b) I have no idea about magnitude.
Can anyone please explain this to me? I don't just want the answer and I want to know how to do this. Thank you!

Answers
a. V = Vo + a*t
V = 25.1 m/s
Vo = 0
t = 0.48 s.
Solve for a.
b. F = M*a
M = 910 kg
a = Value calculated in part a.
