Question

The acceleration am/s^2 of a particle moving in a straight line is given by a = 18t – 4, where t is time in seconds. The initial velocity of the particle is 2 m/s

I hope you know a little calculus.

dv/dt=a

v= INT a dt=9t^2-4t + vo

2= 9t^2-4t + 2
0=t(9t-4)
t= 4/9 sec
