Solve by factoring: x2 + 5x = −6

x^2 + 5x + 6 = 0

2+3 = 5 and 2x3 = 6

so (x-2)(x-3) = 0

then x-2=0 or x-3 = 0

x = 2 or x = 3

Did I do this right??

(x+2)(x +3) = 0
x +2 = 0
x+ 3 = 0
x = -2
x = -3
