Is it 0?
first line them up properly
#1: -x + 2y = 6
#2: x - 6y = -18
add them:
-4y = -12
y = 3
in #1:
-x + 6 = 6
-x = 0
x = 0
why did you not sub your values back in to see if you are correct ?
