the population of a town is modelled by the functions p(t)=6t2+110t+3000. when will the population reach 6000? thanks

solve the quadratic
6t^2 + 110t + 3000 = 6000
3t^2 + 55t - 1500 = 0
(t-15)(3t + 100) = 0
t = 15 or t is a negative, which would make no sense
