Question

An automobile travels a distance of 12 km in 4 minutes. It then moves the next 12 km in 2 minutes. Please help me to calculate its acceleration which is constant throughout the motion. Thanks in advance ))))

average velocity first=12/4 = 3km/min
average velocity second= 12/2=6km/min

accelaration=change velocity/time =3km/min /(6m)= .5 km/min^2
