Good evening. I do not know how to solve this kind of problem. Could someone help me.
Find both x-intercept and the y-intercept of the line given by the equation for 2.4x+2.9y+6.4=0
Thank you for your kindness.

first of all we can get rid of our decimals by multiplying each term by 10 to get
24x + 29y + 64 = 0
for the x-intercept, let y = 0
mentally block out the y term to get
24x = -64
x = -64/24 = -8/3
for the y-intercept, let x = 0
mentally block out the x term to get
29y = -64
y = -64/29
all done
24x + 29y + 64 = 0
for the x-intercept, let y = 0
mentally block out the y term to get
24x = -64
x = -64/24 = -8/3
for the y-intercept, let x = 0
mentally block out the x term to get
29y = -64
y = -64/29
all done
