a. One day last week, I went next door to take some pictures of Coke and her newborn puppies.

b. Only later did I learn that all animals are very protective of their young.

c. Photographing pets can sometimes be a dangerous and expensive hobby.

d. As I walked close to her and her puppies, she charged at me, barking in a wild, high-pitched voice.

e. Next time, I will play it safe and wait until the pups are older.

f. Before I knew it, I was racing to the door, dropping my camera on the way.
