I'm trying to help my son with his homework and I have been out of school for some time...the question is: The floor of the recreation room at the YMCA is triangular with a base of 20 meters and a height of 13 meters. The YMCA wants to install carpeting that costs $30 per square meter. How much will carpeting the floor of the recreation room cost?

I'm trying to help my son with his homework and I have been out of school for some time...the question is: The floor of the recreation room at the YMCA is triangular with a base of 20 meters and a height of 13 meters. The YMCA wants to install carpeting that costs $30 per square meter. How much will carpeting the floor of the recreation room cost?
 
I believe that the answer is $3,900. I calculated the Area of the triangular by multiplying the height times the base and dividing it by 2. I then multiplied the answer of 130 by the cost per square meter (30) which gave me the 3,900. Am I correct or way off of left field
