area is proportional to the scale^2. So,
12cm^2 * (10^4)^2 = 12*10^8 cm^2
since 1m^2 = 10^4 cm^2, that means the area of the real lake is
12*10^4 m^2 = 12 ha
12cm^2 * (10^4)^2 = 12*10^8 cm^2
since 1m^2 = 10^4 cm^2, that means the area of the real lake is
12*10^4 m^2 = 12 ha

1:10 000
(1)^2 : (10 000)^2
12cm2 : ?
12 X 100 000 000
1200 000 000cm2
1m2 = (100)^2cm2
1200 000 000/10 000
120 000m2
10 000m2 = 1 Ha
120 000/10 000
12Ha
(1)^2 : (10 000)^2
12cm2 : ?
12 X 100 000 000
1200 000 000cm2
1m2 = (100)^2cm2
1200 000 000/10 000
120 000m2
10 000m2 = 1 Ha
120 000/10 000
12Ha
