Miriam is four years older than Ricardo. Ten years ago Miriam was 3 times as old as Ricardo was then. How old are they now?

Miriana ---- x+4

Ten years ago:
Ricardo --- x-10
Miriam --- x+4 - 10 = x-6

x-6 = 3(x-10)
