A VET use 2 ml of 100 mg/ml of drug to sedate a 1000 lbs horse. What is the equicalent dose in mg/kg ?

100 mg/ml * 2 ml is 200 mg of the active ingredient. Divide that by (1000 lb/2.2 lb/kg) = 455 kg to get the ml per kg
