Say a b c d e are 1 2 3 4 5.
1+2+3+4+5= 15
(1+2+3+4+5)/5= 3
ratio is 3:15, or 1:5
try this with any set of numbers and it will always work

2 + 3 + 4 + 5 + 6 = 20
(2 + 3 + 4 + 5 + 6)/5 = 4
4:20, when simplified, is 1:5
5 + 6 + 7 + 8 + 9 = 35
(5 + 6 + 7 + 8 + 9)/5 = 7
7:35 = 1:5
300 + 301 + 302 + 303 + 304 = 1510
(300 + 301 + 302 + 303 + 304)/5 = 302
302:1510 = 1:5
I promise you, the ratio will always be 1 to 5
