Are you adding

5 5/8 + 7 2/3 + 19 3/4 ??

If so, then first change them to improper fractions

= 45/8 + 23/3 + 79/4 , now a LCD of 24
= 135/24 + 184/24 + 474/24
= 793/24 or 33 1/24
