Solve by factoring:
One of the solutions to the quadratic equation x^2 - 13x + 30 is 3.
What is the other solution?
Is it:(x+3)
If 3 is a solution, then the quadratic contains a factor (x-3). The other factor is thus (x-10), and it follows that the other root is x = 10.
thanks. - you rock.-do you have aim so you can help me some other times.?
