Please help me solve these two Rational Expressions? Sorry my addition sign does not work on my keyboard, so that is why I am using the word "plus".

__________
g
2). k^3 plus k
___________
k^2 plus k-42

Since you don't have equations, you can't "solve" either one of them
Your probably want them simplified
1. (g^2 - 6g - 55)/g
= (g-11)(g+5)/g
nothing else can be done with that one.
2. (k^3 + k)/(k^2 + k - 42)
= k(k^2 + 1)/( (k+7)(k-6) )
again, not much more to be done here.
