12^2 + 16^2 = ?^2

Now plug in 18 as c.

12^2 + 16^2 = 18^2

144 + 256 = 324

400 = 324

18 is not the answer.

Second Try:

Now plug in 20 as c.

12^2 + 16^2 = 20^

144 + 256 = 400
