kilogram kg = 1000 g
hectogram hg = 100 g
dekagram dg = 10 g
gram g 1
decigram dg = .1 g
centigram cg = .01 g
milligram mg = .01 g
kilometre km
hectometre hm
dekametre dm
metre m
decimetre dm
centimetre cm
millimetre mm
same for litre , etc
all you need is the prefixes
each is separated from the next by a multiple of 10 going up
so 1 g = .01 cg (I jumped too levels down )
then 100 g = 1 cg
It is sooooo easy, please USofA, go metric
