Are my answers right?


1.) Find the remainder (x^3+2x^2+3x+4)/(x+2)

My answer: 2


2.) Find the remainder
(x-1)/(x^4-3x^2+2x-1)

My answer: -1

for the 1st , I got -2 as the remainder

for #2, did you mean (x^4 - 3x^2 + 2x - 1) / (x-1) ??
if so, then you are correct

the way you had it would be one awful division.
