                 f(x) = x^3
y1 = -x^3 + 4
b) Graph the function obtained from f by first translating up 4 units, then reflecting about the x-axis. Write a formula for the resulting function, y2.
y2 = ? i tried x^3-4. my value wasn't correct

    shift first by 4:
x^3+4
then reflect:
-(x^3+4) = -x^3-4
-x^3+4 is what you get when you reflect, then shift

x^3+4
then reflect:
-(x^3+4) = -x^3-4
-x^3+4 is what you get when you reflect, then shift
