Assuming that by "updated marks" you mean your average test score, and assuming that the tests are of equal weight, your average is just the average of the scores:
(36+53)/2
Why do you append the sentence "It's my first test."? You just told us your first test was 36%. That implies that the "it" is your 53% test, but that is not your first test.
If you plan to go anywhere with math, you need to be a bit more precise in your language -- and, presumably, your thinking!
