During a promotional weekend, a state fair gives a free admission to every 175th person who enters the fair. On Saturday, there were 6,742 people attending the fair. On Sunday, there were 5, 487 people attending the fair. How many people received a free admission over the two days? Please help answer thanks

Divide the total attendance by 175.

first day, number of freebies = 6742/175 = appr 38.5
which means the 39th free person has not yet arrived
so 38 free passes
2nd day, number of freebies = 5487/175 = appr 31.3
so 31 free passe

total = 38+31 = 69
