.01403g is just a mass. That's not much to go on

i found the mass of CaCO3 in sample which is 0.01403 g so to find the ppm CACO3 in sample i just need to convert grams to ppm, which would be figuring out how many micrograms in 1 gram of water right and i don't know how to find it ???

It would be great if you would write the entire problem and let us help. Your 0.01403 g doesn't tell us what? Is that the mass CaCO3 or the mass of the sample. And somehow H2O got into the problem. Do you want ppm CaCO3 dissolved in the water?
