a: -1
b: 100
c: -2
d: -a in terms of a
e: For which values of x will y be -11?

to find y(x) for a specific x, just replace each x with its value.
(a) y(-1) = -3(-1)-2 = 3-2 = 1
and so on
(d) -a = -1(a)
(e) just solve for x in
-3x-2 = -11
(a) y(-1) = -3(-1)-2 = 3-2 = 1
and so on
(d) -a = -1(a)
(e) just solve for x in
-3x-2 = -11
