Here is something to remember: If you want to dilute something ten times: add nine parts water to one part original.
If you want to diltue something by a factor of XXX, take (XXX-1) parts of solvent, add one part original.
If you memorize this technique, it saves a lot of crazy calculations each time you have to dilute.
