if f(x) = 2x-5 and g(x) = 4
then
(f-g)(x) = 2x-5 - 4 = 2x - 9

Do #2 in the same way
Answered by Susie
@ Reiny,

Would #2 be -2x - 3?
Answered by Reiny
How did you get -3 ?

(f-g)(x)
= 4 - (2x-1)
= 4 - 2x + 1
= -2x + 5
