A rectangular field is 3 yards longer than twice its width. If the perimeter is 156 yards. How wide is the field?
3*2=6
6*2=12
6*2*12=156 ??

P = 2L + 2W

156 = 2(2W + 3) + 2W

156 = 6W + 6

150 = 6W

25 = W

2*25 + 3 = 53 = L
